UNH ECenter

Lake Street Advisors recognizes that economic growth and personal wealth are driven from entrepreneurial success. It is with this view that the company proudly supports the University of New Hampshire’s Entrepreneurship Center (ECenter) with both financial support as a corporate sponsor and as an advisor (Buddy Webb) on the ECenter Advisory Task Force.

The ECenter operates at the speed of an entrepreneurial start-up and in only a few short years has been recognized as one of the rising stars within universities. It recently won the “Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Center” award for the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers from over 25 nominees from around the world. The ECenter works primarily with students to help them in a wide range of activities from developing an entrepreneurial mindset to launching revenue-generating companies. As a business in the downtown Portsmouth community, Lake Street Advisors appreciates the longstanding contribution to the Port City’s arts and culture scene that The Music Hall provides. In 1878, The Music Hall opened its doors as a Vaudeville theater, bringing a fresh cultural vibrancy to the city of Portsmouth. Fast forward 140 years and The Music Hall—now with a second theater—has been pivotal in a revitalization of downtown into one of the most robust arts destinations in New England.

Here’s more about The Music Hall: They are a vibrant cultural and community hub that hosts over 130,000 patrons every year. Their passion is to inspire, educate, and connect audiences through the power of live performances and on-screen programming that ignites creativity, purpose, and a sense of community.

Since 1987 when The Friends of The Music Hall incorporated as a 501(c)3, the mission of The Music Hall is to present the very best of diverse performing and related arts at The Music Hall as an active and vital arts center for the enrichment of the Seacoast community.
