Job Description
An experienced financial planner who will work internally with a team of advisors to identify planning
issues and opportunities, analyze strategic options, generate exhibits and statements, advise clients, and
manage implementation of client decisions. Externally, you will work with leading investment, tax, and
legal firms to deliver these services to our clients
Job Qualifications
Lake Street is looking for bright and motivated individuals with strong analytical, interpersonal, and
organizational skills. Must be of high integrity. Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated
aptitude for financial planning disciplines, including income taxes, investments, insurance, and trusts
and estates, are musts.
Financial planning education and/or experience with high net worth individuals is desired.
Must be a college graduate. CFP™ preferred.

Job Description
Manager Due Diligence:
We are looking for an experienced investment professional to help support manager due diligence efforts. Through their own deal flow or through investments overseen by Lake Street, our clients tap a wide range of sophisticated, institutional-quality products, including separately managed accounts, hedge funds, private equity, real assets, and specialized investments. The Research Analyst will:
- Meet and maintain relationships with current and prospective managers.
- Perform analysis and due diligence on investment products and managers.
- Prepare investment reports and exhibits for clients and prospects.
- Make and defend manager recommendations to Lake Street’s Investment Committee.
- Work with others on the investment team to set company investment policy.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of and experience with investment theory and institutional-quality investment products.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to apply advanced concepts in mathematics and statistics to the investment field.
- Effective at building consensus and winning the confidence of others.
- Project management skills - managing multiple projects, keeping organized, communicating progress, prioritizing.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a manner that is clear and easily understood.
- Effective at using technology.
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, business, finance, or economics preferred. Advanced degrees (Masters, J.D.) and/or professional designations (CFA, FSA) are a plus.
